Transmuted Inside, Lotta Snijder och Maja Östebro

In the exhibition Transmuted Inside, we meet works created by Snijder and Östebro. The exhibition is based on the artists previous individual practice, with inspiration taken from the inside of the human body, but also from the theme of the biennial – where new paths and new truths can take place. Snijder and Östebro have created a new body of work where the expressions and materials differ between the artists but the final results share a common concept. The artists meet in the exhibition through the common starting point where the human body works as a geological excavation site. In this room both real and fictive experiences are allowed.
