Björn Westerlund, SANDARNA – Ghosts Of Place
Who gets to define the spirit of a place? What can ghosts teach us about our concept of time? SANDARNA – Ghosts Of Place is a project unveiling forgotten, hidden and alternative stories about the undergoing change of a place. The project is based on dialogue, collaborative actions and exchange. To gather a diverse set of voices and thoughts the project includes conversations and collaborations with inhabitants of the area. The project also includes several artistic works examining the borderlands between history and present, rational and irrational, the offical and the secretive. The starting point consists of several ghost hunts together with inhabitants of Sandarna.
