HDK-Valand: Ja visst gör det ont när knoppar brister

During weeks 40, 41, and 42, we will host group shows that’s focus on the ways in which we are all connected, and how those connections shape our understanding of ourselves, our communities, and the world around us. We are particularly interested in works that celebrate the transformative power of connection, and that offer intriguing ways of imagining and rehearsing worlds to come. Art has the power to reveal the hidden threads that tie us together, and to illuminate the beauty and complexity of our shared humanity. We are excited to see how art can be used to inspire and connect people in unexpected ways, and we can’t wait to see how HDK-Valand students will interpret the theme.
