She has recently been appointed as Professor of Fine Art at Konstfack, Stockholm. Cherinet has participated in numerous exhibitions such as the biennales in São Paulo, Venice, Bamako, and Sydney, as well as Manifesta 8, Murcia and Momentum 7, Moss.
