MASU + DOMA / Memories about the future

Some say that we can create memories of the future, that our thoughts and ideas about the future are physically stored in us humans as a memory in the brain. This means that our bodies carry relationships between past, present and future. But how do we relate to all that doesn’t happen? What happens to our memories of the future then?

Within Gibca Extended 2023, MASU and DOMA will present the collaborative exhibition: Memories about the Future.

Memories about the Future explores a common place in the forest and its various layers of possible material memories.

Participants

MASU (Mattias Gunnarsson & Susanne Westerberg)

DOMA (Ida Sondell, Sofia Florell & Fanny Lindh)
