Gothenburg City Library

Gothenburg City Library is Gothenburg’s largest library, a house full of literature and culture at the top of Avenyn at Götaplatsen. Every year, the library receives more than 1 million visitors who borrow books, read newspapers, study in group rooms, have coffee, play in the children’s section, play video games in the youth section, borrow computers and play chess. The City Library has literature for all ages and from all over the world.
