the Excavation pit
The Excavation pit is centred around an archaeological excavation in the backyard of Röda Sten Konsthall. In the ground, fragments from a past which has lost its connection to our time and taken on agencies of their own, are being exposed. They’ve been forming parallel realities, realities independent from our own. Broken chronologies and historic shards are carefully being brushed into the light by gentle hands. During a limited time, in connection with the opening of GIBCA, these new findings are being shown to the public.
