Sniglar och krut – Lisa Holmgren 

Come here and I´ll whisper to you /…/ The sea is greenish and blue /…/ The lighthouse looks out over the horizon. The sea and the merchant ships. The nice shape of the snail is that of the golden spiral. Scagliola, red-pigmented plaster and animal glue, mimics marble – a metamorphic rock whose lime origin from the sea’s thousand–year-old living organisms; ammonites and orthoceratites. As little ones, we listened in shells to the sound of the sea waves crashing.
